P-176.50 and P-176.60 flexible tips

Piezo ceramic is sensitive to bend forces. The P-176.50 and P-176.60 flexible tips are recommended for applications where bend forces are unavoidable. They can be screwed onto the tips of P-842 / P-843 respectively P-844 / P-845 piezo actuators.

P-176.B12 ball tip

We recommend the use of ball tips to keep bend and shear forces away from the piezo ceramic. They can be screwed into the tip of the piezo actuator.

Note: The stiffness of the overall system is reduced by point contact of the ball tip.
